FIRE PIPING SYSTEM
In various sectors and households, safety regulations are mandated to safeguard individuals and assets. Firewater piping, a common system designed for fire suppression using agents such as water, gas, or a combination, typically consists of carbon steel or galvanized iron. It is easily identifiable by its red color. Under normal circumstances, the system maintains a standard pressure of 2-3 bar when there is no fire hazard.
Among the various fire protection sub-system designs implemented by the Projects and Design Department in fire piping system includes: –
Hose Reel System
Our hose reel systems provide an immediate response to small fires. Easily accessible, these systems offer a controlled water supply for localized fire suppression.
CO2 Gas Extinguishing System
Ideal for spaces with sensitive equipment or electrical installations, CO2 systems effectively suppress fires without leaving residue or causing damage to delicate machinery.
Foam Fire Extinguishing System
Foam extinguishing systems are fire extinguishing systems that rely on firefighting foam as the primary fire suppressant agent. Firefighting foam is comprised of a solution of water and a chemical foaming agent.
Sprinkler System
Our sprinkler systems are designed to promptly detect and suppress fires. They deploy water or chemical agents efficiently to safeguard your premises in case of a fire outbreak. Our team ensures seamless installation, regular maintenance, and swift repair services for these systems.
Wet and Dry Riser System
These systems are essential for multi-story buildings, providing a reliable water supply for firefighting purposes. Wet riser systems are always charged with water, while dry riser systems require water to be pumped in during emergencies.
Fire Hydrant System
Ensuring a readily available water source for firefighting efforts, our fire hydrant systems are strategically installed and maintained to meet safety standards.
Deluge Water Spray System
Perfect for high-hazard areas, these systems release a large volume of water simultaneously across the protected area to swiftly extinguish fires and prevent their spread.
FIRE ALARM SYSTEM
A fire alarm system is a network of various interconnected devices and elements utilized to signal emergencies, particularly fires, with the aim of safeguarding personnel and the public through prompt and suitable responses. The system comprises diverse components, including smoke detectors, heat detectors, carbon monoxide detectors, multi-sensor detectors, call points, sounders, bells, relay modules, repeaters, annunciators, fire control panels, and additional optional security devices specifically designed for fire alarm control systems.
Among the various fire protection sub-system designs implemented by the Projects and Design Department fire alarm system includes: –
Addressable-type Fire Detection and Alarm System
Offering precise fire location identification, these systems pinpoint the exact area of fire occurrence, enabling swift response and minimizing damage.
Linear Heat Detection System
Utilizing heat-sensing cables, these systems detect temperature changes, triggering fire alarms and allowing for rapid response in areas where traditional detectors may not be suitable.
Conventional-type Fire Detection and Alarm System
Our reliable conventional detection and alarm systems efficiently detect fires and alert occupants. They are suitable for various building types and are cost-effective.
Aspiration Smoke Detection System
Highly sensitive and early warning systems that detect smoke at its inception, ensuring quick response and fire prevention.
Flammable and Hydrogen Gas Detection System
Safeguarding against gas-related hazards, these systems swiftly detect leaks, allowing for immediate action to prevent fire or health risks.
SPKA is Sistem Pengawasan Kebakaran Automatik that is connected to the main fire alarm panel (MFAP) in the designated premises with the SPKA Monitoring Center and then to the Operations Center (PGO) of the Malaysian Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM). The SPKA Monitoring Center is responsible for filtering all alarm signals received through direct verification with the premises before being sent to JBPM for follow-up action
WHY SPKA INTRODUCED?
Improve Fire Safety through better Maintenance
Improve Fire Certificate Management by Remote Monitoring
Extend Coverage of CMS for better response to emergencies
